1. Each duplex receptacle (output group) has a separate filter to isolate the output groups from one another. There are a total of 4 Output groups (3 on the EPDS-V). For maximum isolation, plug different types of equipment into a separate group. Front end equipment into one group, and power amps into another, for example.

High Performance Low-Loss Filters provides noise-free, filtered AC distribution to your audio/video equipment with much lower resistive losses than any other product in its category.
Remove the unwanted noise and RFI without causing a "bottleneck" to the flow of AC current to your power-hungry equipment.
Utilizes a unique 3d order Bidirectional "T" Filter design to isolate your equipment from unwanted line noise and RFI.
Custom-wound, heavy-duty filter inductors used throughout to maximize performance, and lower the output impedance to the load.
Surge Protection: Utilizes thermally protected, high-performance MOV devices to provide your circuits
with high-voltage transient surge protection.
EPDS-V includes transient protection for cable TV connections and phone lines
