Our parent company, Middle Atlantic Products, has worked for 30 years to develop comprehensive equipment mounting and support products that help maximize installed AV systems’ reliability and let them perform at their best. As part of that mission, Middle Atlantic understood that only an integrated system that included physical mounting (racks) as well as power, thermal, and cable management functionality could achieve that goal – nothing less.

As a natural outgrowth of that development, we realized that one of those key elements – power – was not being supported well enough as a utility to serve the special needs of an installed residential AV system. Many system problems, such as hums and buzzes or control system lockups, can be traced back, either directly or indirectly, to deficiencies in the power system. To deliver further improvements to such installed systems, we had to move beyond the sides of the racks.

By broadening our approach beyond the boundary of the racks, we were able to develop a total, end-to-end solution that we call the Residential Power Integrity System™. This new approach to the entire system starts at the service entry of the house and works all the way to the AV equipment itself to ensure that the delivered power is of the quality needed for the best operation of those systems.
